EMPLOYMENT LAW
Domestic and International Labor and Employment, Benefits, Compliance, and Immigration:
- Provide legal advice on domestic and international labor and employment law, benefits, and immigration.
- Support due diligence and integration for domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, and vendor transactions.
- Advise and support all aspects of recruiting, employment actions and separations, including reductions in force and position eliminations.
- Draft, prosecute and defend domestic and international non-compete, non-solicit, no-hire and non-disclosure agreements and other restrictive covenants.
- Develop, implement, manage, and support domestic and international compliance, including “Revolving Door”, FCPA, and similar international laws.
- Represent your company before employment related administrative agencies
- External in-house counsel services nationwide; manage and direct outside counsel handling international and domestic matters, including litigation, collective bargaining, TUPE, and European Works Councils.
- Advise on domestic and international compliance issues, develop an Ethics Program compliant with US. Attorney Generali guidelines as well as other regulatory requirements, conduct/supervise compliance investigations, train ethics advisors on how to conduct ethics investigations.
- Train executives, supervisors and human resources professionals in all aspects of labor and employment law, business conduct, and litigation avoidance.
- Advice, compliance and claims handling on matters involving Title VII, FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, WARN, PDA, SCA, USERRA, ERISA, FCRA, employment related ITAR issues, workers' compensation retaliation, employee classification, independent contractor/joint employment issues, OFCCP audits, E-Verify, ex-pat assignments, employment agreements, policy drafting and review.
Domestic and International Data Privacy:
- Advise, support, and negotiate privacy terms in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, outsourcing, and vendor transactions.
- Develop and support the implementation of domestic and international data privacy compliance programs and training.
- Draft international inter-entity data transfer agreements.
- Advise and support the “Post-Snowden” development of enhanced insider threat prevention efforts.
- Support data privacy breach prevention, risk and crisis management.
